This “river of gold” Sunkoshi rafting starts from Dolalghat which is just 2 hour drive from capital Kathmandu. Recently Dumja has been identified as new put in point for Sunkoshi Rafting. As the journey starts, you will rafting through Tarang Gaon, Dumja, Khurkot, Likhi Khola, Harkapur Gaon, Rai Ghat, bander Ghat. Bonjur Ghat and finally to Barachhatra. The final day of rafting brings you to open plain and admirable village of Chatara. Upon reaching Barachhhatra, we will drive you to Chatara and then to Kathmandu.
Upon reaching put-in-point, you will be briefed about dos and don’ts of rafting. You will be introduced with fellow rafters, guide and team.
What you provide
We provide self-bailing rafts, wetsuits, helmets, plastic paddles, wet suits, life jackets and first aid kit. We concern your safety. So, we have well trained staffs and rafters capable of CPR, first aid and complicated river rescue. What to Bring
- T-shirt, swim wear for on the river, warm clothing for the evenings, fleece or a pullover.
- Sunscreen and lip protector, Sunglasses (with retaining device) and/or a cap
- Towel and Toiletries (environmentally friendly is best), Personal medication
- Flashlight, Footwear, Reading book, fishing hook if you do fishing.
